Each costumer of Art 79 Tattoo Studio receives written and oral prescriptions how to care for a tattoo.
It is recommended to unbandage a tattoo in 3-5 hours. Then to rinse the tattoo with warm water and intimate gel (soft soap with aloe or baby soap also can be used). Further it is necessary to wipe dry (not to rub) the tattoo placement with a paper towel. Use of a dishtowel or cotton isn't recommended. Later then, the tattoo needs to be greased with a thin layer of "Bepanten plus" or "Pantestin-gel". It is necessary to rinse and grease the tattoo with above-mentioned means 3-4 times a day for 5-7 days. On the 5th -7th day of such an aftercare you can use an ordinary baby cream. It will help to soften and rejuvenate the skin.
The tattoo should be protected from dirt and dust. It cannot be twisted and stuck with anything. Do not tear off the pellicle (peel) formed when healing.
It is forbidden to visit sauna, bath house and steam-room till the full tattoo healing. It is necessary to refuse from bathing in the lakes, rivers, pools etc., and to exclude physical activities.
For the first two-three weeks it is desirable to avoid the direct sunlight, not to visit a sunbed. Further it is necessary to use sunscreen with high SPF (SPF of 50 and more) while sunbathing.
Advisable that the unhealed tattoo has no contact with clothes. In a case of steaking fabric not to panic, just moisten the stuck place with warm water and carefully remove the fabric.
Be ready that the proper care for a piercing will be needed in the first two months. Basically, for the piercing aftercare you need:
- special ointments.
Take the procedures extremely seriously because not only the final result, but also your health depends on it.
The place of piercing needs to be washed out, wiped and rinsed. Rinsing is necessary in a case you have piercing in an oral cavity.
While healing it is forbidden to change the accessory. After the full healing of the place of piercing, you can buy more expensive bijou and wear it.
Our studio takes care for the clients therefore we are forced to tell you that the piercing may have varying consequences. Usually, there are no of them in a case of the correct and responsible approach while healing. But if you’ve faced the problems with the piercing, it is necessary to see a doctor.
Permanent make-up aftercare
After the application of the permanent make-up, pigmented area looks brighter than the result, which will be after healing. Constantly, there are exchange processes in one’s skin. Cells renew. And this is the main factor that defines the longevity of the inked pigment. Gradually it brightens and is excreted by lymphatic system. Speed of this process is individual and depends on the immunity and metabolism. We can affect it by no means. Some people have longer exposure time and others less. Besides, the pigmented area comes under the third party effect, for example, acid creams, peelings, and the key enemy of the pigment – the Sun. When the internal processes are beyond our control, than the external factors are possible to cope with, by avoiding active cosmetic components in a zone of a permanent make-up and applying sun protection, SPF.
What is a “peel”?
So, what is happening with skin after the disruption of its surface, i.e. after the procedure? If to imagine the process in the simplest way, happens the following. When the epidermis is injured, the skin as a barrier organ, tries to protect itself as fast as can – to cover the injured area. First of all, the lymph discharges covering the wound with a pellicle. Delicate immature cells of a basal layer rise in an effort because of a skin damage, rather than to rise in 28 days. Everything that happens in less time than a vital rhythm is weaker. For this very reason it is very important not to pick off and tear off the healing skin. The peel is pure and simple consolidated lymph, but taking into account the lightness of our injury, this peel is either minimal, or invisible at all.
At a later stage, throughout a month, a slight sloughing of the pigmented area is possible. This placement can be treated with soothing cream, like “Bepanten”. But, in the case of lip’s permanent makeup, it would be wiser to use a lip-balm, advisable with SPF.
After the procedure the tattooed zone is recommended to be treated with special creams and ointments for few weeks. For each placement there are special remedies (certain medication will be recommended on the session). Apply healing agent with a thin layer, otherwise there is a risk of a “hothouse effect”. As a result the pill softens and falls off. In this case the healing process slows down, consequently it causes a negative result. However, do not let the permanent makeup zones become dry. It develops cracks and as a result problems. Hence, all in good measure: apply a thin layer of a cream 2-3 times per day for 2 weeks.
Note. Use only recommended during the session ointments with wound-healing and anti-inflammatory effect. It is prohibited to use hormonal agents, antibiotics and other healing stimulants. If the tattoo placement itches during the healing you can take antihistamine. It is recommended to refuse the application of decorative cosmetics on the healing zone for the time of the external restoration of the skin (about a week) after the procedure of permanent makeup.
It is also very important to factor in the particularity of each year season while taking care for lip’s, eyebrow’s and eye’s permanent makeup. For example, in winter, it is very important at first days after the procedure to protect the tattoo makeup from the frost and cold wind. It is also very important to prevent the peel from contact with hat, scarf and sweater. Hotter summer time also has its peculiarities: it is necessary to cover the tattoo zone with panama hat, cap or other headwear from direct sunlight. It is also necessary to protect the skin from the negative influence of the ultraviolet rays during the healing process. Use a sunscreen.
Furthermore, due to the sweating disinfection is needed – antisepsis of the tattoo zone to avoid sweat and dust intrusion into the wound. Note: although, the permanent makeup is ultimate on a beach, in a pool and sauna, it is advisable not to do it just before the holidays, due to the aftercare peculiarities. It is better to take care of it in advance, at least one month before the vacation. In this very case it would be a real helping hand.
